Russian intelligence agents who spied on a defense enterprise were detained in the Mykolaiv region

The Security Service of Ukraine, together with the Minister of Defense, exposed Russian intelligence agents who were spying on one of the enterprises of the defense-industrial complex in the Mykolaiv region.
This was reported by the press service of the SBU.
As a result of the measures taken during the work shifts, it was possible to detain a laboratory assistant and a mechanic at a defense plant. As it turned out, they worked separately from each other.
The figures provided the Russians with geolocations of production facilities and information about the enterprise’s security, as well as reporting on the consequences of combined strikes on the city and tracking the deployment of Ukrainian troops.
In addition, enemy intelligence services, through spies, tried to learn about the presence and types of defense orders being carried out at the facility.
During the search, investigators seized smartphones with media files and coordinates of defense facilities that the Russians planned to attack.
After collecting evidence, SBU officers informed the defendants of suspicions of committing high treason under martial law.
The suspects are currently being held without bail and face life imprisonment with confiscation of property.
Earlier , the SBU exposed a pair of agents who were collecting data on the work of a defense enterprise in southern Ukraine . The female agent and her roommate were trying to obtain secret information to pass on to Russian special services.
