On Thursday, October 16, the Russian occupation army struck Mykolaiv with two guided aerial bombs.

This was stated by the head of the regional military administration, Vitaliy Kim, during a telethon on October 17.

According to him, for the first time since the start of the full-scale invasion, enemy KABs reached the outskirts of Mykolaiv.

“This is the first time since the war began that the outskirts of the city have been targeted by guided aerial bombs,” Kim said.

The head of the OVA added that the type of weapons is currently being determined, so he did not disclose details.

As previously reported, Russian troops have increased the number of air strikes in the southern regions of Ukraine.
