Russian “Oreshnik” has taken up combat duty in Belarus

The Russian Oreshnik missile system has entered combat duty on the territory of Belarus.

This was reported by the publication “Medusa”.

This happened the day before, on December 17, the self-proclaimed President of Belarus, Alexander Lukashenko, said in a message to parliament.

According to him, the first positions for the missile complex have already been equipped.

“He has been with us since yesterday and is on combat duty,” Lukashenko noted.

Earlier, the head of the Kremlin announced that the new Oreshnik missile system is planned to be put on combat duty by the end of the year.

By the way, the “Oreshnik” is a medium-range weapon developed based on Russian technology , which has a range of up to 5.5 thousand km and “confidently overcomes any air defense systems.”
