Russian plane bursts into flames after emergency landing: seven people on board

An An-3 plane made an emergency landing on Sakhalin, Russia, and then caught fire. There were seven people on board – two crew members and five paratroopers.

The incident was reported by Russian media and emergency services.

The plane was performing a training flight near the village of Zonalne in Sakhalin Oblast. During the flight, an engine malfunction occurred, forcing the crew to make an emergency landing in a field.

According to preliminary reports, the engine caught fire after landing, and the fire quickly spread throughout the aircraft. The released footage shows that the plane suffered serious damage and actually broke into several large pieces.
