Russian special services are preparing sabotage in EU and NATO countries: what is the Kremlin’s goal?

The Main Intelligence Directorate has warned partners about the preparation of Russian special services for hybrid operations in the EU and NATO countries. According to intelligence, the aim of such actions is to undermine assistance to Ukraine and weaken the capabilities of the Alliance.
This was reported by the press service of the GUR.
To conduct operations, particularly of a subversive nature, Russian special services plan to involve recruited agents of the General Staff of the Russian Federation (GRU) and the FSB in Europe.
Military facilities, critical infrastructure, and communication systems are in the field of view of Russian special services.
Among the likely targets of the Russian Federation, intelligence agencies name Starlink satellite internet receiving stations located in European countries.
The Ukrainian Defense Ministry’s Directorate of Intelligence stated that it had warned its partners about the plans of Russian special services.
The day before, Estonia stated that Russian special services were behind the arson of the building of the defense company Milrem Robotics in Tallinn . The country’s Foreign Ministry will summon the temporary charge d’affaires for Russia over the incident.
