This was reported by the head of KMVA Timur Tkachenko.
According to him, “search operations have been going on all night. They are still extracting the dead in the Svyatoshinsky district. Rescuers have freed three more.”
“As of now, 31 people have died as a result of the Russian attack on the night of July 31,” the head of KMVA emphasized.
Earlier it was reported that as a result of the Russian combined attack on Kiev the number of people killed had risen to 12. 135 people were injured.
Let us recall that on the night of Thursday, July 31, Russian troops carried out a combined attack on Kiev, using missiles and drones. As a result of the strike, significant destruction was recorded in several areas of the capital, there are dead and dozens of injured.
It later became known that in Kiev they were continuing to clear away the rubble after the night shelling. In the destroyed entrance of a multi-storey building in the Svyatoshinsky district, rescuers found the body of a deceased person.
It should be noted that First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Digital Transformation Mykhailo Fedorov said that the Russians are already upgrading their “shaheeds” so that they can more effectively avoid Ukrainian interceptor drones. He noted that the Russian military is already preparing to use jet drones en masse, and is also introducing technologies that allow them to bypass Ukrainian interceptor drones.
In addition, an expert in the field of electronic warfare and electronic intelligence, Sergei Flesh Beskrestnov, noted that Ukrainians began to hear a new eerie sound in the night sky – we are talking about jet versions of the Shahed kamikaze drones, which Russia has begun to use in recent days. This was the enemy’s response to the successes of Ukrainian anti-aircraft drones. So far, the attacks are not widespread, but the emergence of a new type of drone could change the nature of air threats in the coming months.
