Russian strike on navy ship leaves two dead, also missing

As a result of the Russian strike on the Ukrainian Navy, two crew members were killed and several are missing.

The spokesman for the Ukrainian Navy, Dmitry Pletenchuk, announced this on air during the telethon.

“Unfortunately, we have a second fatality. Search and rescue operations are ongoing. Of course, we will definitely find all of our missing people – there are several of them. Several servicemen were also injured. But most of the crew has been safe since yesterday,” Pletenchuk said.

At the same time, the presenter noted that enemy media reported that the ship sank, but Pletenchuk noted that he “cannot confirm this information.”

Let us recall that Russian troops attacked one of the ships of the Ukrainian Navy . As a result of the attack, one crew member was killed, several were injured, and some of the sailors are still considered missing.
