Russian strike on Ternopil: 12-year-old girl dies in hospital, death toll rises
12-year-old Adriana Unolt, who was injured in a Russian strike on a high-rise building, died in a Ternopil hospital.
This was announced by the mayor of the city, Serhiy Nadal.
He noted that the girl died after a nine-day fight by doctors for her life.
Adriana’s mother also died in the attack, and her sister is still in the hospital.
“Now Adriana is where there is no fear and explosions – next to her mother, in a quiet and bright place, inaccessible to war,” the mayor of Ternopil wrote.
As a reminder, on the night of November 19, Russian troops carried out a series of strikes on the western regions of Ukraine , in particular on Ternopil and Lviv regions.
It was previously reported that rescuers from the State Emergency Service discovered the body of another person under the rubble of a house destroyed by a Russian missile strike in Ternopil .
