Russian strikes caused power outages in three regions: list of regions

As a result of Russian drone attacks and artillery shelling, as of the morning of August 14, consumers in Donetsk, Kharkiv, and Sumy regions were left without electricity.

This was reported by NPC Ukrenergo.

According to the company, power engineers are already carrying out emergency and restoration work where the security situation allows. Specialists are making efforts to restore power supply as soon as possible.

At the same time, the level of electricity consumption as of 9:30 a.m. on August 14 remained approximately the same as the day before.

In particular, Ukrenergo called for the use of powerful electrical appliances to be postponed to the period from 10:00 to 17:00, if possible. It is at this time that industrial solar power plants operate most efficiently, which helps reduce the load on the power system.
