Russian strikes damaged energy infrastructure: no electricity in four regions
Due to Russian attacks on energy infrastructure facilities, some consumers in Donetsk, Zaporizhia, Kharkiv, and Chernihiv regions were left without electricity.
This was reported by the Ministry of Energy of Ukraine.
According to the department, power engineers have already begun emergency restoration work. Repair crews are working around the clock, if the security situation allows.
In addition, residents of 40 settlements in Chernihiv and Sumy regions were left without electricity due to the bad weather.
The Ministry of Energy also reported that the application of electricity supply restriction schedules is not planned for today.
“Active energy consumption today should be shifted to daytime – from 10:00 to 17:00,” the department noted.
Previously , “Pryamiy” reported that on the morning of June 4, the Zaporizhzhia Thermal Power Plant came under heavy shelling , which could jeopardize the power supply to the temporarily occupied Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant.
