Russian strikes left consumers in seven regions of Ukraine without electricity

Consumers in seven regions of Ukraine have been left without electricity due to Russian strikes. Currently, there is no electricity supply in Odessa, Zaporizhia, Chernihiv, Sumy, Kharkiv, Dnipropetrovsk, and Donetsk regions.
This was reported by NPC Ukrenergo.
Energy workers have already begun emergency restoration work where the security situation allows.
“Electricity consumption has increased. Today, September 11, as of 09:30, it was 6.3% higher than at the same time the previous day — Thursday. The reason is cloudy weather in some western regions of Ukraine. This causes low efficiency of household solar power plants and a corresponding increase in energy consumption from the general network,” the energy company reported.
It is noted that on September 10, the daily maximum consumption was recorded in the evening. It was 1.3% higher than the maximum of the previous day — on Wednesday, September 9. The reason was the increase in air temperature, which caused consumers to use air conditioners more actively.
Ukrenergo called for shifting active electricity consumption to the period of most effective operation of industrial solar power plants, due to weather conditions, from 10:00 to 16:00.
