Russian troops attacked Kyiv region: fires broke out, there are injuries

On the night of August 8, Russian occupation forces carried out a drone attack on peaceful settlements in the Kyiv region. The Buchansky district came under fire. Three people were injured as a result of the strike.

This was reported by the Kyiv Regional Military Administration.

“The enemy attacked peaceful settlements in the Kyiv region with drones. The Buchansky district of the region was under attack,” the KOVA report says.

According to updated data, among the victims are women aged 56 and 80, as well as a 16-year-old teenager.

The attack resulted in fires in the private sector. Damage to residential buildings was also recorded. All necessary services are working on the scene – rescuers, medics, police and utility crews.

As a reminder, the head of the Dnipropetrovsk OVA, Serhiy Lysak, reported that the Russian army carried out a series of attacks on the Dnipropetrovsk region over the past 24 hours, striking with FPV drones and artillery in three districts. As a result of the shelling, shops, housing, an administrative building and infrastructure were damaged, and one person was injured.

As reported, on the morning of August 6 , Russian troops launched an airstrike on a recreation center in one of the settlements of Zaporizhia district. The attack killed two people and injured 12 others.
