Russian troops killed a woman in Kherson this morning with shelling.

A woman was killed in Kherson during morning Russian artillery shelling. Authorities urged residents to stay indoors unless absolutely necessary.

The Kherson Regional Prosecutor’s Office reported this.

“According to the investigation, on the morning of September 26, 2025, Russian military personnel carried out artillery shelling of Kherson,” the statement reads.

It is noted that a woman who was on the street died as a result of the attack.

An apartment building and cars were damaged.

Under the procedural leadership of the Kherson District Prosecutor’s Office, a pre-trial investigation has been launched into the commission of a war crime that resulted in the death of a person.

In turn, the head of the Kherson OVA, Oleksandr Prokudin, stated that Russian troops had been shelling Kherson intensively this morning. He urged residents to remain in safe areas and not go outside on September 26 unless absolutely necessary.

Let us recall that Russian infidels fired upon a minibus in the center of Kherson this morning . A woman was injured in the attack and is in moderate condition.
