Russian troops occupied another settlement in the Donetsk region

On Thursday, July 17, it became known that the Russian occupation forces had captured the settlement of Shevchenko in the Donetsk region.

This was reported by analysts of the Ukrainian OSINT community DeepState, who monitor the situation in the region.

According to their data, the enemy not only gained a foothold in Shevchenko, but also advanced in the directions of Zelenye Pole, Myrne, and Pischanye.

In addition, offensive actions by Russians were recorded near the settlement of Hatishche, which is located in the Vovchansky direction near the border with Russia.

Analysts emphasize that combat activity in these areas indicates the continuation of the enemy’s offensive operations in eastern Ukraine.

As a reminder, Russian troops captured the village of Razine in the Donetsk region and advanced in the areas of Vidrodzhennia, Toretsk, Danylivka, and Krasny Pershy.

As reported, Russian troops captured Zyrka in Donetsk region and Bilogorivka in Luhansk region.
