Russian troops shelled Odessa: there is destruction and casualties

On the night of Wednesday, February 4, Odesa was again under attack from Russia. Civilian and industrial facilities in the city were hit, and there are casualties.

This was announced by the head of the Odessa Regional Military Administration, Serhiy Lysak.

He noted that a two-story residential building was damaged – the roof and floors of the apartments were destroyed. The blast wave shattered windows in neighboring buildings, damaged cars parked nearby. A school and a kindergarten were also hit.

In addition, a hit was recorded in the administrative building of one of the industrial enterprises. A fire broke out at the site, which rescuers were immediately called in to extinguish.

During the liquidation of the consequences of the attack, the State Emergency Service evacuated four people. Two women were treated on the spot by doctors, and hospitalization was not required.

Currently, utilities are closing broken windows and repairing damage. Specialists continue to inspect the buildings to determine the extent of the damage and eliminate the threat to residents.
