Russian troops withdraw: Ukrainian Armed Forces conduct counteroffensive in Hulyaipil direction

The Armed Forces of Ukraine continue counterattacks in the Southern Operational Zone, in particular in the Hulyaipil direction. The Ukrainian military has advanced in several areas of the front and forced Russian units to retreat from their positions.
This was reported by the coordinator of the “Information Resistance” group, Kostyantyn Mashovets.
According to him, advanced units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine are carrying out offensive operations in the Hulyaipol area.
“The Armed Forces of Ukraine continue counterattacks in the Southern Operational Zone, in particular in the Hulyaipil direction,” Mashovets said.
He added that Ukrainian troops advanced in the direction of Ternuvaty-Dobropillya and crossed the Gaichur River. Ukrainian forces also launched combat operations for one of the settlements in the area.
“Ukrainian troops apparently also managed to start fighting for Varvarivka, knocking the enemy out of positions in Pryluky and Olenokostyantynivka,” Mashovets noted.
According to his information, Russian army units are forced to retreat in several areas of the front.
“Obviously, the advanced units and units of the enemy’s 5th ZVA north of Hulyaipole are forced to retreat eastward in several areas behind the Hulyaipole-Pokrovske road, which they took under their control several weeks ago,” Mashovets concluded.
By the way, several enemy groups managed to cross the Seversky Donets on frozen sections of the river, penetrating into the village of Zakytne in the Slavyansk direction.
It was previously reported that Russia is preparing for new offensive operations on several fronts and is intensifying strikes on the Ukrainian rear. Moscow is preparing to continue the war and try to achieve military results.
