Russians advance in Luhansk region, Ukrainian Armed Forces succeed in Donetsk region

As of Friday morning, August 22, Russian troops were able to advance in the Serebryanskoye forestry of the Luhansk region, as well as in the areas of the settlements of Serebryanka and Olgovskoye.

At the same time, the Ukrainian Defense Forces achieved success in the Donetsk region – our soldiers rejected the occupiers from the Tolstoy area.

“The enemy has advanced in the Serebryanskoye forestry, near Serebryanka and Olgovskoye. The enemy has been driven back from Tolstoy,” the report says.

Let us recall that Russian troops occupied the village of Grushevskoye in the Donetsk region and advanced near Voskresenko, Orekhovoye, Mayak and Uyut.

Russian troops reportedly captured 564 square kilometers of Ukrainian territory during July.
