Russian troops shelled the warehouse of one of Ukraine’s largest pharmaceutical distributors, Optima-Pharm, in Dnipro. The warehouse was completely destroyed, but the employees remained unharmed.
This is reported by “Economic Truth” .
The Optima-Pharm warehouse in Dnipro served the southern regions of Ukraine. The building was completely destroyed during the attack, and the extent of the damage is currently being determined.
This is the third case of destruction of the company’s warehouses as a result of shelling. On October 25, the warehouse complex and office of “Optima-Pharm” were destroyed in Kyiv, with losses estimated at one hundred million dollars. At that time, the attack destroyed about twenty percent of the monthly supply of medicines in Ukraine.
Also, on August 28, Russian missiles also hit the pharmaceutical warehouse of the Optima-Pharm JV in Kyiv, causing significant damage.
The company emphasizes that despite the destruction of warehouse facilities, no personnel were injured, and work to restore logistics is ongoing.
By the way, on the night of November 15, the Russian army launched another massive strike on Ukraine , using three Kh-47M2 Kinzhal aeroballistic missiles and 135 attack UAVs of the Shahed, Gerbera, and other models.
As a reminder, on October 25, the central warehouse of the pharmaceutical distributor Optima-Pharm in the Kyiv region was targeted by Russian shelling. The warehouse held about 20% of Ukraine’s monthly supply of medicines, which creates a real threat of a temporary shortage of drugs in the capital and the region.
