Russians are actively operating in the Dnipropetrovsk region, heavy fighting is taking place there: is there a threat to Novopavlivka?

The head of the Assault Units Directorate, Valentyn Manko, stated that the Russians have chosen two key vectors of attack, one of which is the Novopavlovsk direction.

He said this on social media.

According to him, the Russian army has concentrated its efforts between Gorikhov and Zeleny Kut and is trying to break through to Novopavlivka. However, there is currently no threat to the settlement.

Instead, fighting is currently taking place in Yalta, Zaporizhia, Ivanovka, Maliivka, Ternovo, Berezovo, and Novomykolaivka.

In addition, the enemy is attacking Poltavka in the Zaporizhia region, but the presence of Defense Forces units in the settlement remains.

The military stressed that the situation is not critical today, but heavy fighting is underway in the Novopavlivske direction.

“The enemy is trying to harm us more and more,” Manko explained.

At the same time, he added that Ukrainian soldiers are defending themselves and also clearing territories from the enemy.

Previously, analysts from the DeepState project called the Novopavlivka direction the most problematic section of the front . More than half — 53% — of all captured territories in September fell on the Novopavlivka direction.

As a reminder, the occupiers have taken new positions and expanded the “gray zone” near the settlements of Vyshneve and Zlagoda in the Dnipropetrovsk region.
