Russians are preparing an operation against Ukrainian water supply systems – Zelensky

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy reported that the Russian side is preparing an operation against water supply systems in Ukraine.

He said this during an evening video address.

According to the president, the enemy plans to implement the operation in the coming months.

“Every community must have a serious attitude, an absolutely responsible attitude, towards the protection of relevant facilities,” Zelenskyy emphasized.

He instructed government officials and the OP team to work together with the military on issues related to air defense — protecting regions from Russian drones.

“We need to add lines of defense – this is a clear task,” the president explained.

It was previously reported that the Russians have likely chosen new targets for air strikes in Ukraine, shifting the priority from energy facilities to logistics and water infrastructure.

As a reminder, on March 23, Russian occupation forces dropped two air bombs on a dam located on the Seversky Dinka River near Raigorodok in the Kramatorsk district. Because of this , water supply schedules will be introduced in cities in the Donetsk region .
