Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Oleksandr Syrskyi said that the Russians are increasing pressure on the Pokrovsky direction in the Donetsk region.

He wrote about this on social media.

According to Syrsky, the occupiers are continuing to try to break through the Ukrainian defenses by bringing up reserves to the front.

The operational situation on the front line remains difficult. The enemy has focused its main efforts on the Pokrovsky and Ocheretinsky directions. Over the past week, about 400 clashes have been recorded there.

The Russian army continues to use the tactic of infiltration by small infantry groups to advance deep into the enemy. Syrsky emphasized that timely detection of enemy infantry, their containment and destruction require constant monitoring of the battlefield, clear coordination of units and flexible tactical decisions.

“We pay special attention to strengthening the units of unmanned systems — primarily the use of strike drones to defeat the occupiers, as well as the development of logistics with the involvement of robotic complexes. War is changing — we are changing approaches to its conduct. Scaling modern technologies directly affects the effectiveness of combat operations and allows us to save the lives of Ukrainian soldiers,” the Commander-in-Chief explained.

As a reminder, as a result of active assault operations in the Pokrovsko-Mirnograd agglomeration, the Russian operational reserve suffered significant losses .

As is known, in Myrnograd on the Pokrovsky direction, the Russians are constantly trying to find weaknesses in the Ukrainian defense , changing tactics, building up forces, and making breakthrough attempts.
