Russian propaganda resources have spread a new fake about alleged “hunger” among Ukrainian military personnel in positions.

This was reported by the Center for Countering Disinformation.

The Central Military District noted that a video is being distributed online, where the “commander of the 60th Motorized Rifle Brigade” allegedly emotionally complains about problems with the unit’s supply.

However, the center emphasizes that the recording does not contain any confirmation of its authenticity. The man’s identity in the video cannot be identified, and the voice shows signs of editing and superimposition on a third-party video sequence.

The Central Intelligence Agency explained that such videos are typical informational and psychological operations of the Russian Federation.

Russian propaganda regularly uses anonymous accounts on TikTok and Telegram to spread emotional fakes about the Ukrainian military.

The purpose of such attacks is to sow distrust in the Armed Forces of Ukraine, create the impression of problems with supply, and demoralize Ukrainian society.

The CPD also recalled that they had previously refuted staged videos about alleged violence against Ukrainian military personnel by commanders.

Ukrainians were urged to trust only official messages from the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and verified sources of information.

It was previously reported that Russian propaganda resources are spreading another fake story about alleged “atrocities by the Armed Forces of Ukraine” in Pokrovsk. For this, the Kremlin media used a video with a local resident without any confirmed facts or evidence.

As a reminder, Russian Ombudsman Tatyana Moskalkova stated during a meeting with Vladimir Putin that Ukrainian military personnel were allegedly taking children from Donbas to Germany.
