Russians are still near Dobropillya: military spoke about the situation in the region

Russian occupation troops are still in the Dobropillya area of Donetsk Oblast, while the Defense Forces are working to destroy them.

This was stated by the spokesman for the Dnipro Regional Administrative District Viktor Tregubov on the air of “Social. Studio”.

“We will be able to clearly state the results when we are convinced that they were unable to get out of there or somehow connect with other groups,” he noted.

According to him, the Ukrainian military stopped the advance of the occupiers near Dobropillya, cutting off individual groups of Russians from supplies. Part of the Russian troops is surrounded.

Despite this, the Pokrovsk direction remains the most active. There, the enemy is trying to infiltrate with small assault groups, including making attempts to enter Pokrovsk.

“All that remains is to simply destroy them there,” Tregubov summed up.

Previously, the Ukrainian military was able to neutralize the main threat in the Dobropillya area of the Donetsk region and surround Russian units.

As it became known, in the Donetsk region, the Ukrainian military cleared six settlements near Dobropillya of Russian occupiers.

By the way, the Dnipro Special Operations Command stated that the Russian occupiers who were near Dobropillya were surrounded and being eliminated .
