Russian troops are trying to completely capture Pokrovsk and Myrnograd in the Donetsk region. Ukrainian units in the group’s area of responsibility are holding back enemy attacks.

In the Pokrovsky direction, Ukrainian defenders stopped 21 assaults by Russian troops in the areas of Rodynske, Kotlyne, Novomykolaivka, Udachny, and Filia, as well as in the direction of Bilytsky, Novooleksandrivka, and Novopavlivka.

According to preliminary data, in the area of the Pokrovsko-Mirnograd agglomeration, Ukrainian military eliminated 63 Russian occupiers and wounded another 23.

One artillery system and four pieces of special equipment were also destroyed. Three tanks, two artillery systems, one vehicle, an electronic warfare device, and 58 Russian shelters were damaged. In addition, 192 drones of various types were destroyed or suppressed.

According to the military, the Russians are actively trying to advance in the Hryshynye area and break through to the center of the settlement, simultaneously attacking it from the north and south.

“The Russians are also trying to completely seize Pokrovske and Myrnograd. Units of the Ukrainian Defense Forces hold certain positions on the northern outskirts of these settlements,” the military noted.

Ukrainian defense forces are strengthening aerial reconnaissance, mining possible attack routes, and blocking enemy logistics.

“Our drone units, artillery, and aviation are actively working. Our soldiers are inflicting significant losses on the enemy,” the troops added.

In total, in the area of responsibility of the “East” group, the losses of Russian troops per day amounted to 347 people. 1,539 drones were also destroyed and 121 units of other weapons and equipment were hit.

In addition, the Ukrainian military is actively hunting drone operators – 64 Russian UAV control points were hit in a day.

As a reminder, over the past 24 hours, 136 combat clashes took place on the front between the Ukrainian Defense Forces and Russian troops . The occupiers carried out 75 air strikes, dropped 233 guided bombs, used 7,951 kamikaze drones, and carried out over 3,400 attacks on Ukrainian military positions and settlements.

As reported, in the Pokrovsk area of the Donetsk region, Russian army troops are preparing for a new offensive by bringing in reserves.
