The Russian occupation army is trying to advance through open terrain into the Dnipropetrovsk region and gain a foothold there.
This was stated by the spokesman for the Dnipro Regional Administrative District Viktor Tregubov.
According to him, the terrain of the region is quite open, which makes it difficult for the Russians to advance. However, there are forest plantations in the Dnipropetrovsk region that they use.
The occupiers are using this opportunity, as long as there are leaves on the trees, to achieve their goal, the military explained.
“In general, attacks are frequent in the Dnipropetrovsk region, attacks mostly occur across the border of the Donetsk region,” Tregubov noted.
However, the Russian army is also making attempts, with varying degrees of success, to gain a foothold within the Dnipropetrovsk region.
“It’s another matter how long these attempts at consolidation will last, but we won’t say or announce anything here. We’ll see how it goes,” the group’s spokesman concluded.
We remind you that the occupation troops are expanding the zone of control at the front, in particular, the enemy’s advance was recorded on the border of Dnipropetrovsk and Zaporizhia regions .
By the way, the Ukrainian Defense Forces recently liberated the village of Filiya, Dnipropetrovsk region, from Russian troops.
