Adviser to the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine Serhiy “Flash” Beskrestnov reported on attempts by the Russian military to restore access to Starlink terminals in the occupied territories. According to him, the mass blocking of terminals has complicated the management of Russian units.

He wrote about this in Telegram .

According to the Defense Ministry advisor, the Russian side is trying to restore the terminals in various ways, including through payment for services, the use of shell companies, and dismantling equipment from captured drones. He emphasized that Starlink is a critically important communication and command system for troops.

“The enemy is looking for options for activating Starlink. They write their ideas in groups, then these posts are spread around our groups. All their ideas are banal. Send someone to the ASC for money. Use a fictitious LLC. Remove Starlink from a trophy drone, etc.,” said Sergey “Flash” Beskrestnov.

He noted that the Ukrainian side had anticipated such actions and had prepared countermeasures. According to him, all such terminals could be blocked.

“Don’t worry, we initially understood all the options and thought through both the risks and countermeasures. We will block all these Starlinks, but those who like to try to earn “easy money” from the enemy will face imprisonment, and not a small one. This is not setting a car on fire and running away, this is coming to the ASN and actually recording your crime for the court,” said Serhiy “Flash” Beskrestnov.

According to him, after the terminals were blocked, Russian units at the front lost the ability to effectively control their troops. Russian military correspondents also report that some terminals have stopped working, which affects the speed of decision-making in Russian units.

By the way, a decrease in the number of assault operations by Russian troops was recorded at the front after the blocking of unregistered Starlink satellite internet terminals.

As previously reported, Ukrainian Defense Minister Mykhailo Fedorov said that the Starlinks included in the “white list” are working, and the Russian terminals have already been blocked.

Recall that SpaceX, at the request of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, has implemented countermeasures in the operation of the Starlink satellite communication system in the country . Some users are already noticing temporary restrictions aimed at increasing the level of security.
