On Monday, August 18, Russian occupation forces shelled the Donetsk region with artillery and aerial bombs, targeting the cities of Kostyantynivka and Dobropillya.
This was reported to the regional prosecutor’s office.
As it became known, the Russians dropped a FAB-250 with a UMPK module on Dobropillya, killing a woman. Three more men, aged 26, 31, and 74, were injured, and doctors diagnosed them with mine-explosive injuries, fractures and shrapnel wounds.
In addition, the enemy attacked Kostyantynivka: the occupiers fired 5 Smerch MLRS missiles at the city. Two civilians died from their injuries. Four residents also received shrapnel wounds, mine-explosive injuries, and a laceration, and the condition of some of them is assessed by doctors as moderate to severe.
At the same time, Russian troops shelled Kostyantynivka with artillery, killing a 74-year-old pensioner.
It is noted that apartment buildings and private houses, a restaurant, and a store were damaged in the epicenters of the explosions.
“Under the procedural leadership of the Pokrovsk and Kostyantynivska district prosecutor’s offices, pre-trial investigations have been initiated in criminal proceedings on the facts of war crimes,” the report says.
We will remind you that on August 18, the Russian occupiers launched two ballistic missile strikes on Zaporizhia, resulting in the deaths of three people and the injury of many others.
