Russians Attack Residential Area of Svyatogorsk: People Wounded

Russian occupation forces shelled Svyatogorsk. Five civilians were wounded in the attack. The Russians hit a residential area with an S-300 air defense system.

The press service of the Donetsk Regional Prosecutor’s Office reported this.

“On June 18, 2025, at 02:30, the occupiers attacked Svyatogorsk using the S-300 air defense missile system. The missiles hit a residential area. Apartment buildings and private homes were in the affected area,” the prosecutor’s office noted.

As a result of the shelling, five city residents were injured – four women and a man. The victims, aged 51 to 66, were diagnosed with mine-explosive injuries, shrapnel wounds, a fracture, a concussion, contusions and lacerations. At the time of the strike, the victims were in their homes. So far, all the wounded have been hospitalized.

In the village, 19 apartment buildings and private houses, seven cars, a garage and shopping pavilions were damaged.
