Russians attacked a commuter train in the Dnipropetrovsk region with a drone, one person was killed and several were injured

Deputy Prime Minister for the Reconstruction of Ukraine – Minister of Community and Territorial Development of Ukraine Oleksiy Kuleba reported on the Russian attack on a civilian suburban train of Ukrzaliznytsia in the Kryvyi Rih district of the Dnipropetrovsk region. As a result of the attack, 1 person was killed and 7 more passengers were injured.

He wrote about this in Telegram .

According to him, an enemy drone hit one of the cars of a commuter train that was in motion.

“Unfortunately, one person died. We offer our condolences to the family and loved ones. According to preliminary information, seven passengers were injured,” said Oleksiy Kuleba.

After the impact, the locomotive crew immediately stopped the train, and the passengers were evacuated and provided with first aid.

Rescuers from the State Emergency Service, railway workers, and paramedics from the nearest stations and depots quickly arrived at the scene.

The injured were hospitalized for further necessary medical care.

Onward transportation of all passengers to their destinations is currently being organized.

It was previously reported that two children were injured in a strike by guided bombs on Komyshuvas in the Zaporizhia district . A residential building was destroyed and neighboring buildings were damaged.

As a reminder, on January 27, Russian troops struck a passenger train . The enemy used three Shahed drones. The hit was recorded in front of the locomotive and directly into the passenger car, causing a fire.
