Russians attacked a house in the Sumy region, killing a 9-year-old boy and his mother.

Russian troops attacked a private home in the Buryn community of Sumy Oblast with two drones. The strike killed a 9-year-old boy and his 29-year-old mother. The boy’s father and grandmother suffered severe burns and are hospitalized.

This was reported by the head of the Sumy Regional Anti-Corruption Office, Oleg Grigorov.

According to him, Russian forces struck the house early in the morning with two jet-powered drones. A woman and her son were killed at the scene.

Four more people were injured, including the deceased boy’s father and grandmother, who were hospitalized with severe burns.

As a result of the attack, the building suffered significant damage and a fire also broke out.

According to the National Police, Russian troops attacked 28 settlements in the Sumy region over the previous 24 hours. One person was killed and five others were injured.

Also on the night of August 14, Russian troops attacked Smela in the Cherkasy region with an attack drone. The enemy drone struck a multi-story residential building, injuring five people.
