Russians attacked a port in the Odessa region: ships with grain were damaged, there were injuries

On the night of Friday, March 20, Russian occupation forces attacked a port in the Odessa region with drones. The strike damaged two civilian ships under the flags of Palau and Barbados, which were moored at the piers and loaded with grain.

This was announced by Deputy Prime Minister for Recovery – Minister of Community and Territorial Development of Ukraine Oleksiy Kuleba.

Despite the damage, both vessels remain afloat.

Administrative buildings were also destroyed, a grain bunker and port equipment were damaged. Two people were injured in the attack.

The fires that broke out after the strike were quickly extinguished. Work is ongoing at the scene to eliminate the consequences, and law enforcement officers are documenting another war crime by the Russian Federation.
