Russians attacked Bogodukhiv in Kharkiv region with drones, killing a woman and a child

A woman and a child were killed and three more people were injured in a Russian drone strike in the town of Bogodukhov, Kharkiv region. The strike hit a residential building, which was completely destroyed.

According to rescuers, Russian troops attacked the private sector of Bogodukhov with drones at night. One of the hits hit a residential building, after which a fire broke out on an area of 50 square meters, which was extinguished by the State Emergency Service units.

Rescuers recovered the bodies of two victims from under the rubble.

“The bodies of two deceased people were removed from under the rubble: a woman and a 10-year-old boy. Three more people were injured,” the State Emergency Service reported.

The head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, Oleg Synegubov, clarified that the dead in Bogodukhiv were a 41-year-old woman and a 10-year-old boy. According to him, a 22-year-old and a 68-year-old man and an 89-year-old woman were also injured in the city.

He noted that over the past 24 hours, 10 settlements in the Kharkiv region have been hit by Russian strikes. As a result of the shelling, 2 people were killed, one of them a child, and 6 more people were injured, including a minor girl.

According to Oleg Synegubov, in the village of Zolochiv, a 17-year-old girl suffered an acute stress reaction, and in the village of Luzhok, Malodanylivska community, an 18-year-old girl and a 73-year-old man suffered.

Russian troops used various types of weapons in the Kharkiv region:

• 4 CAB;
• 6 UAVs of the “Geran-2” type;
• 1 “Molniya” type UAV;
• 5 fpv drones;
• 1 UAV, the type of which is being determined.

As a result of the shelling, civilian infrastructure facilities in several districts of the region were damaged and destroyed. In particular, in the Bogodukhiv district, the windows of a private house, an administrative building, 2 apartment buildings, 3 shops, a car in the village of Zolochiv, as well as 9 private houses in Bogodukhiv were damaged.

In the Kharkiv district, 4 private houses and outbuildings were damaged in the village of Kozacha Lopan, a school building and 4 private houses in the village of Polyova, as well as 10 private houses and 4 cars in the village of Luzhok.

In the Chuhuyiv district, a civilian truck was damaged in the village of Novooleksandrivka, a fence of a private household and outbuildings in the village of Zarichne.

It is also reported that the transit evacuation point in the city of Lozova received 36 people per day, and 18,400 people have been registered there since the point began operating.

Recall that in the Dnipropetrovsk region on February 8, Russian troops attacked the Nikopol and Synelnyk districts using FPV drones, artillery, and unmanned aerial vehicles . As a result of the shelling, 3 women were injured, and residential buildings and infrastructure were damaged.

By the way, on the night of February 8 , Russian troops struck at Naftogaz Group facilities in the Poltava region .
