Russians Attack Civilian Cars in Donetsk Region with FPV Drones: two killed, four injured

In the Donetsk region, Russian forces once again struck civilians using FPV drones. Two people were killed, and four others were injured in two attacks that took place on June 12, 2025.

This was reported by the press service of the Prosecutor General’s Office.

It is reported that the first attack took place at 10:40 in the village of Illinivka, Kramatorsk district, where a drone struck near a public transport stop. A pensioner who happened to be nearby was killed in the blast. The bus driver and a passenger were also injured.

The second attack occurred around 12:40 in the village of Mykolaypillya, part of the Druzhkivska community, where an FPV drone hit a civilian car. One man was killed, and two other civilians sustained mine-blast and shrapnel injuries and were taken to hospital.

The prosecutor’s offices of the Kramatorsk and Kostyantynivka districts have launched a pre-trial investigation under the article related to war crimes. The incidents are currently being documented for submission to international authorities.

The department emphasized that such actions by the Russian military constitute yet another violation of international humanitarian law and a crime against the civilian population.

It is known that on the night of June 12, the Russian army carried out a massive attack on Ukraine, using 63 Shahed-type strike drones and simulator drones of various types.
