Russians attacked Priluki with drones: a tobacco factory was hit.

Russian troops launched a drone attack on the town of Pryluky in the Chernihiv region. The attack set fire to the roof of the cigarette production facility at the Pryluky tobacco factory, owned by British American Tobacco.

This was reported by Obshchestvennoye, citing the company’s employees.

According to eyewitnesses, all employees were sheltering at the time of the attack. No one was injured in the strike. One worker suffered an acute stress reaction and received the necessary medical attention.

Rescuers are currently working at the scene and extinguishing the fire.

An air raid siren was sounded in Pryluky at 11:35 a.m. Subsequently, two powerful explosions and a smaller one were heard in the city. Afterward, thick black smoke billowed over the city. The Ukrainian Air Force issued a warning about Russian drones moving toward Pryluky.

The Pryluky Tobacco Factory is a tobacco industry enterprise that is part of the British American Tobacco Ukraine structure and specializes in the production of cigarettes.

The company produces, among other things, Kent, Lucky Strike, Pall Mall, Rothmans, Capri, Priluki, as well as sticks for the glo system.
