Russians attacked Red Cross vehicles in Kherson region: one injured

Russian military drones attacked vehicles of the Ukrainian Red Cross Society in the Kherson region. According to preliminary data, a 50-year-old worker of the humanitarian organization was injured in the strike.

This was reported by the head of the Kherson OVA, Oleksandr Prokudin.

According to him, the attack targeted a marked vehicle of the Ukrainian Red Cross Society, whose employees are working to provide assistance to the civilian population.

“The Ukrainian Red Cross Society is a humanitarian mission that has nothing to do with military affairs. These people came here with the sole purpose of helping the civilian population,” Prokudin emphasized.

The head of the OVA called the attack another blow to the humanitarian mission and noted that the shelling of the volunteers’ transport is a war crime.

Information about the victim’s condition and the extent of the damage is currently being clarified.
