Russians attacked the Shostka railway station, injuring around 30.

On the afternoon of October 4, Russian troops attacked the railway station in the Shostka community of the Sumy region.

This was reported by the head of the OVA, Oleg Grigorov.

The attack damaged a Kyiv-Shostka passenger train. Some passengers were injured. According to the head of the Shostka Regional Air Defense Administration, approximately 30 people were injured, all of whom were taken to the hospital.

Rescuers, medics, and other emergency services are working at the scene. “An emergency response center is being established. People are being provided with the necessary assistance, and a rescue operation is underway,” the OVA director noted.

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy called the attack on the Shostka train station a terrorist attack. He stated that both Ukrzaliznytsia employees and passengers were present at the time of the attack.
