Russians attacked Ukraine with drones: how many air targets were shot down by air defenses

On the night of Friday, June 20, Ukrainian air defense neutralized 70 enemy drones.

This was reported by the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

In total, the enemy attacked with 86 Shahed attack UAVs and simulator drones of various types from the following directions: Millerovo, Kursk, Orel, Bryansk, Primorsko-Akhtarsk, in Russia, and from Chaudy, in the TOT of Crimea.

The air attack was repelled by aviation, anti-aircraft missile troops, electronic warfare and unmanned systems units, and mobile fire groups of the Defense Forces of Ukraine.

As of 08:00, air defenses have neutralized 70 enemy Shahed UAVs (and other types of UAVs) in the north, east, and south of the country. 34 were shot down by fire weapons, 36 were lost/suppressed by electronic warfare.

Enemy airstrikes were recorded in 8 locations, as well as the fall of downed aircraft (fragments) in 11 locations.

We will remind you thatover the past 24 hours, 176 combat clashes took place on the Russian-Ukrainian front . The hottest situation remains in the Pokrov direction.

As reported, as of the morning of June 20, Russia had lost about 1,009,330 military personnel since the start of its full-scale invasion of Ukraine. Over the course of the day, the enemy’s losses in manpower reached 1,090 people.
