Russians await reinforcements in Pokrovsk: they are setting up logistics and transferring personnel

Russian occupation forces have reduced activity in Pokrovsk, Donetsk Oblast, to reduce casualties while awaiting reinforcements.

The enemy is trying to establish logistics through the southern areas of Pokrovsk, making attempts to transfer personnel using cars and motorcycles.

However, the Ukrainian Defense Forces did not allow this. Currently, search and strike operations are being conducted in the city to identify and destroy the Russians.

The Unmanned Systems Forces, assault and airborne assault units, the Special Operations Command, the Security Service of Ukraine, the National Guard, the National Police, etc. operate in the Pokrovsk area.

In particular, in the first week of November, Ukrainian fighters killed 71 occupiers in Pokrovsk, and another 36 Russian soldiers were wounded.

In addition, the enemy is making attempts to advance south of Pokrovsk and is trying to penetrate into Hryshyne.

“To do this, the Russians intended to mislead the Ukrainian military and enter the settlement under the guise of civilians. Our forces stopped the enemy,” the military explained.

The Russian Defense Ministry also commented on the events near Myrnograd. According to their information, the situation there is complicated. It is likely that after unsuccessful attempts to storm the city from the east, the Russians will change the direction of the attack.

As a reminder, Russian troops are actively strengthening their positions in Pokrovsk and accumulating resources capable of conducting surveillance and striking the entire settlement. Control over key approaches to the city has not yet been achieved, which poses a serious threat to Ukrainian defenders.

Earlier, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine stated that there is no encirclement or blockade of Ukrainian troops in the Pokrovsko-Myrnograd agglomeration. The situation in the direction remains difficult, but controlled.

It is known that the Defense Forces of Ukraine have stopped the expansion of the occupiers’ presence in the northern areas of Pokrovsk and are conducting a clearance operation there.

It is worth noting that a comprehensive operation to destroy and displace enemy forces is underway in the Pokrovsko-Mirnograd agglomeration . The city’s defense is being coordinated and supported by additional units, weapons, and unmanned systems.
