Russians carried out 261 attacks in a day: where the fiercest fighting took place

Over the past 24 hours, 261 combat clashes between the Ukrainian Defense Forces and Russian troops were recorded on the front. Ukrainian defenders struck nine drone control points, four areas of manpower concentration, and seven control points of the occupiers.
This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the morning briefing on August 6.
According to the General Staff, Russian forces launched two missile strikes, firing 30 missiles, and carried out 78 air strikes, dropping 299 guided bombs. In addition, the enemy used 10,672 kamikaze drones and conducted 3,314 attacks on Ukrainian military positions and settlements, including 66 from multiple launch rocket systems.
There were 7 combat clashes in the North Slobozhansk and Kursk directions.
In the South Slobozhansk direction, the enemy carried out 12 attacks.
In the Kupyansk direction, Ukrainian military repelled 11 attacks.
14 assaults were recorded in the Lymansky direction.
In the Slavic direction, the enemy attacked 14 times.
There were 2 combat clashes in the Kramatorsk direction.
In the Kostyantynivka direction, the invaders carried out 29 attacks.
In the Pokrovsky direction, the Defense Forces stopped 29 enemy assault operations.
1 attack was recorded in the Oleksandrivka direction.
In the Hulyaipil direction, Russian troops carried out 11 attacks.
In the Orikhiv direction, Ukrainian defenders repelled 4 offensive attempts.
The enemy did not conduct offensive operations in the Dnieper direction.
In particular, the General Staff emphasized that the Ukrainian military continues to restrain the Russian offensive and inflict significant losses on the enemy along the entire front line.
