Russians continue to invest in war: Zelenskyy stated that there is no change in Russia’s position

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated that diplomatic activity has been extremely high in recent days, but there have been no changes in the Russian position.
He wrote about this in a post following a conversation with Danish Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen.
“The Russians still don’t want to stop the killings, they still invest in the war,” Zelensky emphasized.
In addition, according to him, the Russian Federation is trying to exchange “Ukrainian territory for Ukrainian territory with consequences that guarantee nothing but more convenient positions for the Russians to resume the war.”
As the president noted, all steps should bring the war closer to an end, not to its reconfiguration.
“And our joint decisions with our partners must work for common security,” he concluded.
As a reminder, the US and Russia are seeking to reach an agreement to end the war in Ukraine , which would consolidate Russian control over the occupied regions.
It was previously reported that US President Donald Trump may recognize Russian control over part of the Ukrainian regions that are currently under occupation.
As it became known, Vladimir Putin still seeks to gain full control over four Ukrainian regions — Donetsk, Luhansk, Kherson, and Zaporizhia — and has no plans to withdraw from the occupied territories.
