Russians crossed the Seversky Donets over frozen areas: what is happening in the Slavyansk direction

Several enemy groups managed to cross the Seversky Donets on frozen sections of the river, penetrating into the village of Zakitne in the Slavyansk direction.

This was reported by the press service of the 81st separate airmobile Slobozhansk brigade.

As noted, small groups of Russians have infiltrated the inter-position space. Currently, Ukrainian fighters are conducting search and strike operations, trying to detect and destroy the enemy in the settlement.

“The enemy continues offensive actions from three directions – special attention is paid to infiltration into the flank of the defense of Ukrainian units,” the brigade noted.

In addition, the occupiers are making attempts to advance along the river from the Serebryansk forestry and are using the lowlands as cover from weapons and reconnaissance.

According to the captured Russians, the enemy command orders them to enter areas where there are no Defense Forces, however, due to being hit by Ukrainian drones, they suffer significant losses.

In turn, the enemy is increasing the activity of strike and reconnaissance UAVs. Drones complicate the logistics of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

“The situation in the area of responsibility of the 81st Brigade units remains complicated, but the soldiers are giving a worthy rebuff to the enemy and continue to restrain his offensive potential in the Slavyansk direction,” the military explained.

As a reminder, as of 4:00 p.m. on February 10, the enemy carried out one offensive action in the direction of Ozerne in the Slavyansk direction .
