Russians dropped a KAB on a store in the Sumy region, killing two people.
In the Velikopisarevskaya community of the Sumy region, Russian aircraft dropped a guided bomb on a local store while people were inside.
The head of the regional military administration , Oleg Grigorov , and the regional prosecutor’s office reported this.
The impact killed two women—a 40-year-old saleswoman and a 63-year-old local resident. Rescuers recovered their bodies from the rubble. Another saleswoman miraculously survived. In total, two people were injured, and one wounded woman was hospitalized.
According to the regional administration, approximately 30 attacks were recorded in 20 settlements in 12 communities over the past 24 hours. Buildings and a car were damaged.
Additionally, it was reported that a 38-year-old man died in hospital. He was injured on October 17 during a Russian drone attack on a truck in the Trostyanets community.
As a reminder, according to the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ukrainian Ministry of Defense, Russia is mass-producing guided modular glide bombs, which, thanks to a turbojet engine, can fly up to 200 kilometers. This will enable strikes to be carried out from a safer distance for Russian aircraft and expand the threat radius across Ukrainian territory.
