“Russians hate Poroshenko” – Epstein tapes

“Russians hate Poroshenko” – Epstein tapes

The fifth president of Ukraine, Petro Poroshenko, is mentioned in the so-called “Epstein files” 25 times. In the vast majority of cases, these are mentions in news materials and analytics that were included in the mass of documents as part of information monitoring.

This is reported by Dzerkalo Tyzhnia.

The most revealing in this context is a fragment of Jeffrey Epstein’s correspondence with the then Minister of Foreign Affairs of Slovakia, Miroslav Lajčák, dated April 23, 2019. The correspondence discussed the results of the presidential election in Ukraine.

In particular, Epstein’s interlocutor noted that “Russians hate Poroshenko” and suggested that changing the Ukrainian president could help resolve the conflict. At the same time, the diplomat also expressed skepticism – he doubted that the newly elected President Volodymyr Zelensky would be able to effectively govern the country.

Dzerkal Tyzhnia emphasizes that this fragment does not contain any mention of Petro Poroshenko’s contacts with Epstein. On the contrary, it reflects external assessments of Ukrainian politics by third parties and demonstrates how international diplomats perceived the change of power in Ukraine in 2019.

The published documents do not contain any evidence of Petro Poroshenko’s involvement in Jeffrey Epstein’s crimes or any contacts between them.
