Over the course of 24 hours on February 5, 56 combat clashes were recorded on the Russian-Ukrainian front. The situation remains most tense in the Pokrovsk sector, where the Ukrainian Defense Forces stopped 15 Russian assaults.

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported this as of 16:00.

From Russian territory, the enemy carried out artillery shelling of border settlements in the Chernihiv and Sumy regions.

In the North Slobozhansky and Kursk directions, the enemy attempted one offensive and launched 43 attacks, including multiple launch rocket systems. In the South Slobozhansky direction, two attacks were recorded near Vovchansk.

In the Kupiansk direction, combat contact continues as the enemy attempts to advance toward the city. In the Limansk direction, Ukrainian forces repelled six attacks, and another clash is ongoing. The Russians also attempted two attacks in the Sloviansk direction, while there were no active offensive actions in Kramatorsk.

In the Konstantinovka sector, the enemy has launched 12 attacks, three of which remain incomplete. In the Pokrovka sector, Russian forces have launched 21 assault attempts since the start of the day, but Ukrainian defenders are holding back the advance and have already repelled 15 attacks.

Fighting also continued in the Aleksandrivske and Hulyai-Polye directions, where the enemy actively used air power. No offensive actions were recorded in the Orekhovske direction, and the Defense Forces repelled one attack in the Dnieper direction. There were no significant changes in other areas of the front.
