Compared to last week, the activity of Russian occupation troops in the Dnieper direction has significantly increased.

This was stated by the spokesman for the Southern Defense Forces, Vladyslav Voloshyn, in a comment to Ukrinform.

According to him, the number of enemy assault operations has increased by 55%. The occupiers are carrying out attacks throughout the island zone of the Dnieper.

“Starting from the south, where the islands of Zabych and Kozulysky are, and ending with the Antonivsky railway bridge, including islands where previously assault operations were quite rare,” Voloshyn explained.

As he noted, previously, fighting rarely took place on the islands of Belogrudy and Velikiy Potemkin. However, recently, several clashes with the Russians have been recorded there.

In addition, the use of FPV drones has increased by 10-15% in the direction where the enemy uses about 250 units per day.

The number of airstrikes, including those using unguided aircraft missiles, has also increased.

“We literally have five to seven strikes there every day,” the spokesman summed up.

It was previously reported that the Russians in Zaporizhia are regrouping to resume assaults in the Dnieper direction , as well as in Orikhiv and Hulyaipil.

By the way, over the past 24 hours, the enemy made five attempts to advance in the Prydniprovs’ky direction.
