On Sunday, September 7, the Russian army targeted a civilian car on a highway near Sloviansk with an FPV drone.

This was reported by the Donetsk Regional Prosecutor’s Office.

A 61-year-old woman died as a result of a direct hit by a drone into a car. Five other people of various ages were injured and taken to a medical facility.

Doctors diagnosed the victims with head injuries, concussions, abrasions, lacerations, contusions, and acute stress reactions.

The Slavyansk Regional Prosecutor’s Office has launched a pre-trial investigation into criminal proceedings for a war crime.

“Prosecutors are taking all possible and appropriate measures to document the cynical attack of the occupiers on the civilian population,” the report says.

As a reminder, Russian occupation forces have begun actively shelling the Sloviansk-Izyum highway , which leads from the Donetsk region to the Kharkiv region.
