Russians hit critical infrastructure in Chernihiv region: 20 settlements left without electricity
On the evening of September 7, Russian occupation forces shelled Semenivka in Chernihiv Oblast. The strike damaged critical infrastructure.
This was reported by the head of the Novogorod-Siversky District Military Administration, Alexander Seliverstov.
Due to the Russian attack, at least 20 settlements in the Semenivka territorial community were left without power supply.
“The relevant services are urgently carrying out emergency and restoration work at the facility,” the message says.
According to the head of the RVA, critical infrastructure is operating normally.
At the same time, six checkpoints were deployed on the territory of Semenivska Grad: four in the city and two in the countryside.
“I urge residents to remain calm, follow safety rules, and follow official announcements,” Seliverstov concluded.
As noted, Russian troops are purposefully attacking energy and gas infrastructure facilities in Sumy region , depriving residents of the necessary conditions for life. As of July 2025, 20 thousand consumers were without electricity, and more than 13 thousand were without gas.
