Russians hit energy facilities in Sumy region
In Sumy region, some settlements were left without electricity after Russian strikes on energy facilities.
This was reported by the head of the Sumy Regional Military Administration, Oleg Grigorov.
According to him, during the day, Russian troops attacked the energy infrastructure of the region. As a result, power outages occurred in the Sumy and Okhtyrsky districts.
Some consumers have already been temporarily left without electricity.
Power engineers and emergency crews are working to restore power supply.
The OVA chief also instructed communities to prepare shelters so they can accommodate people in the event of prolonged power outages.
It was previously reported that on March 8, Russian troops attacked a passenger train “Kyiv – Sumy” with a drone , which was carrying about 200 people. Previously, there were no casualties.
As a reminder, two women and their children were killed as a result of a night strike by Russian troops on Kharkiv on March 7.
