Russians hit energy facility in Zaporizhia: two people injured

On Tuesday, January 13, Russian occupation forces attacked the Zaporizhia region, striking energy infrastructure facilities.
This was reported by the Ministry of Energy.
As a result of the shelling, equipment was damaged, leaving a significant number of consumers without electricity.
In addition, two employees of the enterprise were injured in the attack. They were evacuated and taken to a medical facility. Doctors diagnosed one of them with burns to the face, hands, and head, and the other with burns and contusion; she was unconscious during transportation to the hospital. Doctors are currently examining her to establish a diagnosis.
The department noted that energy workers will work to eliminate the consequences of the Russian strike as soon as the security situation allows.
“It is in such extremely difficult conditions, risking their lives, that energy workers continue to fight every day to restore light to people,” the Ministry of Energy emphasized.
As a reminder, the Russians struck Zaporizhia and Zaporizhia district. More than 30,000 subscribers were left without electricity .
Earlier, Russian troops again struck a DTEK thermal power plant , causing significant damage to the equipment.
