Russians hit Lozova in Kharkiv region with a guided bomb, five people injured

In the city of Lozova, Kharkiv region, Russian aircraft struck a private residential area. The attack injured five people, including an 80-year-old woman.

This was reported by the Kharkiv Regional Prosecutor’s Office.

According to the investigation, the shelling occurred on October 18 at around 5:40 p.m. The strike was carried out by a guided aerial bomb launched from the temporarily occupied territory of Ukraine.

Residential buildings and outbuildings were damaged. Three women and a 39-year-old man were injured and traumatized, and an 80-year-old city resident suffered an acute stress reaction. All victims are receiving necessary medical care.

According to preliminary information, the city was hit by a new modification of a guided aerial bomb — the UMPB-5R jet type, which traveled approximately 130 kilometers. This is the first case of the use of this type of ammunition in the city of Lozova. Currently, all the circumstances of the attack, the modification of the ammunition and its flight range are being established.

Prosecutors and police investigators conduct all necessary investigative and expert actions to document the crime.

Recall that on the night of Saturday, October 18, the Russian army carried out a massive attack on Ukraine , using three S-300 anti-aircraft guided missiles and 164 attack drones of the Shahed, Gerber and other modifications.
